I am realizing that I never posted the volleyall video of Sami's senior year. It was an awsome year for the Lady Bulldogs. They placed 1st at the regional tournament and then took 3rd at state. I love watching Sami play volleyball and will miss it very much!
And now for the summer. It has been a busy summer and full of lots of fun. Matthew played in the Minors league this year. That kept us busy, with practices everyday and games twice a week. His team placed 1st in our region. Matthew was selected to be on the Allstar team, this helped extend his season to the end of July. This was great for him. Mom and dad are not so sure about this baseball thing, as it seem to eat up most of our summer. However, watching him was still fun and he seems to have the makings of a great pitcher.
His allstar team placed third at the state tournament. It was a fun season and it was fun to see Matthew work so hard and to earn a place on the allstar team as one of the pitchers.

Sami's a Graduate So I finally have some pictures of Sami's graduation. So proud of this girl! She has been such a joy in our life and we look forward to seeing her get out on her own. She is going to do great things!!! She was asked to perform at seminary graduation, along with two of her friends. They did an arrangement of Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing and If you Could Hie to Kolob. It was beautiful. I was able to get one of their practices so I could share it.
2017 Prom
Sami went to prom with Jarrett Collins. Its fun to watch her with her friends. They are all such good kids. Sami has always had a confidence about her, but not in an errogant way. She is not afraid to make the right choice and doesnt really care what others might think or say! She is as beautiful in the inside as she is on the outside.
Zeke to High School Next year Zeke will be in high school. Zeke has a good group of kids his age. They are all good kids and so athletic! It's going to be fun to watch these kids over the next few years!! From right to left... Ezra Harlow, CJ Lindsay, Tyler Nichols, Zeke, Lane Herman, Patric Kidgell Here are some Easter pictures. It was a strange year becuase we only had Amee and Matthew home for easter. We had fun decorating eggs, I think I will always love decorating easter eggs.
2017 Track and Field
We have had so much fun watching our kids compete in sports. What we love the most is seeing them give it their all, and they did!!! This was Amees first year doing track. She did the 100m, 200m, 400m, and 800m. She was contiually beating her own time all season. She was able to beat the school record in both the 400m and the 800m. Zeke continued to jump doing the high jump, long jump and tripple jump. Half way through the season he also started pole vault. He thinks we will want to continue pole vaulting next year along with the high jump and tripple jump. He was also on the 4x100m relay team, which took state. He did the 200m and the 400m a couple of times during the season. The coaches were finally able to get him to run the 800 for the last two meets, one being state. He is not sure how much he loves to run, but he is very good at it!

Being around family is the best! I always worried that becasue we didn't live close to our family and cousins that there would be distance between the families, but I was wrong. Whenever we get together it is always so fun and the kids immediatley connect. I imagine heaven will be like one big family reunion! Families are forever!!

Christmas Eve 2016. Each year we have the kids draw names
for Christmas gifts and their dad requires that the gifts be hand
made. They are getting pretty creative as they get older, and it's
getting easier for mom since I don't have to help very much. They
all did such a great job this year! This is probably my favorite part
of Christmas. These gifts we alway open on Christmas eve. And
then of course they get their PJ's or what ever. The boys all
Here is a video of some of the highlights from Zeke's basketball games this year. They had a great year and did great at the regional tournament. Zeke is number 1 an was the point guard this year. So proud of this kid, he really gives 110% to everything he does!
Wow how time flies!! I am still finishing up 2016, ugh!
Jake's mission call came last week (Saturday February 18, 2017)
I have found that I don't have very many photos, just lots of videos. Here is a quick glance at Matthew's and Amee's birthdays (Matthew turning 9 and Amee turning 12)

2016 at a glance!
Amee and her friends danced to Thriller during their 5th grade talent show is April.
Sami was on the dance team again this year. They placed at state, competing against 3A schools!
This is Sami's "Twin", Raynie Martin
Jake, Yaska, and Zeke all participated in track! I don't seem to have any picture of Jake :(
Zeke did the long jump, the triple jump, the 400m, the 800m, and 4x400. For such a little one he sure is fast and sure can jump!! He doesn't love track and I don't know if we will be able to get him to do it next year, but he sure is good and has the potential to break some school records!!
Matthew wrestled and is a natural! However he tells us that he doesn't want to wrestle, just play basketball. I hope he will change his mind. He is also extremely fast! As a third grader he can out run almost everyone in elementary school, including many 5th graders
Jake had a great year with basketball. The Bulldogs had a great season and were able to go to state.
We had a lot of fun this summer in St. George with Yaska. Tom Rented a side by side while we were at the lake. The kids had a blast! I think Tom had more fun that they did. He said it was like driving a snowmobile in the sand.
So far this school year has been filled with lots of fun, success and running from place to place. Jake is going to school at Northwest Community College. He is on an intermural basketball team. I think they have had a fair share of wins. He is now approaching finals with all A's. He has been taking 3 institute classes along with Missionary Prep. Jake is such a great kid and is so much smarter than I ever was! We are so proud of him!
Sami and the Lady Bulldogs had a very successful volleyball season. They took first at the regional tournament and 3rd at the state tournament. We had a lot of fun cheering her on and are going to miss it!
Jake is 19!! And pretty much all he got was food for his dorm! The life of an adult!!
We took the kids fishing this fall to Sibley Lake. It was a lot of fun! I am not sure why the boys where kissing the fish though. Jake and a couple of friends came too.
Matthew is all boy all the time! I am pretty sure I threaten to stick a knife in a ball daily to keep him from bouncing or throwing in the house.
For Halloween he wanted to be a basketball player. We ordered a Steph Curry uniform, which I later realized was coming from China. I ordered another one 8 days before Halloween. We tracked it the Saturday before Halloween and it showed it would be delivered Tuesday, the day after Halloween, I talked him into being a wearwolf. Monday morning I went to the PO Box and they said if it showed up before 2 they would call me, his party at school was at 1:45. Well, the school ended up sending him home becasue they said he had pink eye. When I took him to the Dr he was cleared of pink eye, but he did have "swimmers ear" which he got from the hot tub in the hotel we had been in that weekend during regional volleyball games. Just as we left the Doctors office the post office called and said his jersey had come, but the school wouldn't let him come back to school until he had been on antibiotics for 24 hours.
Anyway, I really wanted him to be a wearwolf, so for Halloween night I talked him into being "Teen Wolf."
Now we have Amee's birthday and Christmas.... Let's hope it get this updated before Fall of 2017....
