The Bloomsteadts visit Lovell

Staci, Jason, and their kids came to visit us in Lovell over Memorial Day weekend. The kids had a good time, as did the adults.

Tom, Jason, and the older kids went to the lake with the Grants Monday morning. Staci and I took the little ones to the play ground to play some baseball. We had a tornado warning (which Staci laughed at, since she did not feel there was any need for such a warning). But the day did prove to the windy and messed up our plans for a hike.

But the boys had fun on the boat!!!! So did the girls

Jackson, Matthew and Whitney. Jackson is driving!!!

Matthew driving. . .  Obviously I am not on the boat!

Tuesday morning we took the little boys hiking, Tom had to work and the other kids were still in school. We were hoping to get to a place called 5 springs. We never made it, but we had fun anyway. We hiked for about 2 1/2 hours, and I have sinced learned 5 springs is only about a 30 min hike. We were on the wrong trail, but I do believe we were close. One day we will attempt the hike to 5 springs again.

Jackson, Axel, and Matthew

The boys were troopers!

I believe where we took this picture is just below where we wanted to be . . . but at this point we had spend 2 hrs on the wrong trail and decided to head back.

Where to begin......

Where to begin? Lots has happened so far this year. . . .  and at the end of last year.

Halloween

We had a Vikings football player, a vampire ninja, and a vampire princess

Matthew turned 5 and requested a race car cake, he loves with Hot Wheels!

Tom and I both turned 40!

We both receied guns. Jake gave Tom some basketball shorts and socks he could wear to open gym, without making Jake embarrassed (he is trying to give his dad some style). I also received some Racheal Ray pots and pans, which I LOVE!!!!

Tom also sent me to a class to receive my concealled license permit, it was well worth my time!!!!

Amee turned 8!!!! We bounced between a baptism in SLC or Lovell, but due to not knowing whether we would make it to SLC for Christmas, she was baptized in Lovell. See spend the entire day throwing up and sleeping. She was so sick, but did not want to cancel. It was by far the smallest and simplest baptisms we have had, but it was so good. Jake and Tom both spoke and they both did amazing! She looked beautiful!

Christmas!!!!!!
Somewhere we have a video of Matthew on his new scooter

Lots of XBox time for Jake and Zeke (and their dad)

Sami sporting new clothes!

Amee and her puppy

Hanging with cousins

Happy Birthday Zeke!!

Happy Birthday Sami

Some other big events, Jake had a great basketball season! This spring he lettered as a freshman in track, helping set a state record in the 3200 relay.

Jake was caught playing with Matthew, they were racing . . . and according to Matthew Jake was running his fasted but he still won!

Jake was ranked 12th in the 2 mile run and placed 8th! A great start for a freshman!

Sami went to Utah with a group of dancers to perform. They did awesome!

And Zeke placed first in the 4th greade science fair. His experiment was on what foods cause the most mouth bacteria. Gummy candies and Chips were the winners. He also learned you should eat an apple after eating candy if you can not brush your teeth.

Now we just need summer!!!!!
